A fab thriller in company of Maclean, Forbes, Follet with a sub-continent twist

I had no expectation but was filled with curiosity as how it would unfold. I had a conference call to attend as soon as I finished the first chapter and with great reluctance put the book down to take it and had to expend a lot of energy to keep my concentration on the call. Rushed back to the book as soon as I finished and the call and only put it down when I finished the book. I am a voracious reader with a wide taste, but thrillers with military themes (novels by Maclean, Forbes, Follet) a...

    Fast paced and awesome detailing

Love the characters, and each is so clearly described. The author has picturiesed the various locations so eloquently and still so crisply, that the reader can see the events in the book unfold.

Love the twists and turns, through the book, and defn a nail biter!!!

The ending is awesome, and the first spy thriller that Ive read, thats set in the Indian subcontinent !

    Fantastic read

Given India's dramatic and sensitive geo-political relations with its neighbors, you'd expect many more thrillers around this but its sad that we don't have much to read except for the FBIs and CIAs of the world. Until now. P R Ganapathy's book is a fantastic read and gives us a good view of the world of Indian intelligence. What fascinated me in this book is the maturity of the plot and the ease of read. Its unputdownable from the start and the characters are very well sketched and you actua...

    Racy read !

Just finished Anza Deception and the book now has the distinction of being the only one that I have read cover to cover since I had my baby (my son is now a year old) !

The fast paced book provides the reader with a beautiful narrative of the great Karakoram highway to the frontiers of China against a clever plot of espionage, double dealings and international spies.

Thank you PR Ganapathy for transporting us to these beautiful vistas that one can only hope to visit.

    The Anza Deception by P.R.Ganapathy

I have just completed reading The Anza Deception. It holds the readers interest throughout and one would continue without putting the book down if at all possible! The settings are well researched and close to realities of the present day and it is not difficult to relate the main characters in this fiction to personalities in real life. The working in the corridors of power is depicted in an incisive manner not generally known to the 'outsiders". The links provide a great deal of interesting...

It would be an interesting script for a movie. Hoping there will be a sequel.

Very interesting! Well researched. Pace was perfect. It will be an interesting script for a movie. It did not seem like a first writing of the author. I am hoping the author has plan to write a sequel. Well done!

The Anza deception; Fredrick Forsyth in Indian scene

Interesting and gripping, a fast paced thriller. So gripping and interesting, I finished in one go. If one is with a military back ground, it makes it that much more interesting and one relishes the accuracy of research on matters military and ground details. Second edition should include a map. Must read.

    Gripping and Fast Paced!!

Just finished reading anza deception written by pr ganapathy. Phenomenal book , gripping , fast paced and felt like a speedy drive through the hills. Great to read a book where the author didn't have a paranoia to write x number of pages to make it a fat book. Crisp books leave a great taste like a nice dosa. Thanks ganesh, hope you continue this passion and keep us readers happy

    Great read!

It was a great racy read and very unique, because it is not too often one gets to read a plot set in Indian geo-political and military themes. The characters, the plot and the climax were fascinating, with the pace never dragging. The ending was a very realistic one too. I wouldn't be surprised if Anza Deception is made into a movie - it has all the ingredients for a good thriller! Looking forward to more from this author.
