I don't have to talk much about the aesthetics as Apple really knows its design elements. The color is really amazing - vibrant yet toned down.
Love the small compact design. Of course, since it's so small...one needs to be careful so as to not misplace it.

The iPod has 2 GB worth of storage space allowing you to store up to 380 of your favorite tracks. It also uses a rechargeable battery that has up to 15 hours of audio playback when fully charged. You can charge the shuffle via USB to a computer system or a power adapter.

The VoiceOver button on top reads out the track that is being played in a synthesized voice, in case you do not have your track list memorized.
The iPod comes with a switch on top next to the VoiceOver button. You will have to slide the top from left to right to switch it off. The middle mode enables the Shuffle to play in the right order and the mode to the left of it is the shuffle, where your songs will be played randomly.
