It is not as smooth as the track pad. But the functions on a mouse is so amazing! None exists with such swipe and gesture actions. However, rarely but at times, there is a lag in movement.

I have an apple macbook air. I wanted a mouse so that while making lengthy ppt presentations, I don't pain my hands. But after buying the product I feel laptop trackpad is better. I found the range of mouse really small. You have to move the mouse in bigger circlles on the mousepad to reach a position on the computer screen.

I dont find the product worthy for the extremely high price. I don't recommend this product.
