Good book
This is a very good book to understand the preliminary concepts of design patterns. The english is simple and readily understandable. Some more examples could have helped in guiding the user on how to zero in on a particular design patterns for addressing a given scenario.

Nice. Easy to read
I loved the GRASP and Design Patterns part. Having heard these topics over and over again, i think this book should be a must read for all software developers. You can be done reading it in 2-3 days.

A good book for non-technicals
If you are from a non-technical background, as I am, this book is just made for you. With only very basic understanding of how softwares are developed to start with, reader will understand a lot about UML. The writing style is simple and important points are repeated so that users grasp it well. Since the book is oriented towards agile development, correlating it with traditional S/w development may at times be difficult but should not be a major problem. Please do not buy from BWINDIA and flipkart failed too...
I had ordered Applying UML Patterns., book on 31AUg2016 and got email on 5Sep2016 that the order is ready for shipping. But on 6Sep2016, I got SMS that my order is cancelled and refund is initiated successfully and I will get my refund in 7-8 working days.
I never cancelled the order. When contacted cust care, they politely apologised and recited the same content in the SMS.
