The guar or cluster bean, with the botanical name Cyamopsis tetragonoloba, is an annual legume and the source of guar gum. It is also known as gavar, gawar, or guvar bean. They tend to grow best when they are planted in average, moist and well-drained soil, will tolerate sandy soil, loamy soil, clay soil and moist soil. Now open the seed packet on a white sheet of paper as while opening the seeds might fall, which are not visible to naked eyes.
