  • Shri G.N.S. Raghavan (b. 1926), a journalist of repute, was closely associated with Aruna Asaf Ali. From 1957 to 1982 he has held important positions in the Union Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Prior to that he worked with Times of India, Thought and Indian Express. Before retiring in 1982 he was the Secretary of Second Press Commission. Among his important publications are: Private Face of a Public Person-A Study of Jawahar lal Nehru, The resurgence of Indian Women and M. Asaf Ali: Memoirs-The Emergence of Modern India.
