Born in Leicester, England James Allen was a writer whose inspirational writings have influenced many people.

James Allen was highly influenced by Protestant Liberalism, as well as by Buddhist thoughts. All his works are based on practical thinking.
James Allen left school at a young age due to his father’s murder and began working for several British manufacturers. He had a short literary career of nine years. A very private man, none of his books reveal much about his personal life other than his residence. His name is not present in any major reference work and not even the Library of Congress or British Museum have much information about him. James Allen died in 1912.
