Surprisingly, this book is seldom mentioned in lists like TOP INDIAN MYTHOLOGICAL FICTION. The cover design is below standard indeed yet Ashwatthama's Redemption is a fascinating read.
The book's pace is ideal and the lingo is simple though I felt that it could have been longer and more comprehensive, even so, I enjoyed this book and feel it deserves a longer and a better sequel.

Worth the money
Writing style is very detailed, simple language and easily on of the best among historical fiction ini India. I liked the book very much.The pacing is perfect. One of the setbacks is that most stories from mahabharat mentioned in the book are very familiar, those parts felt boring as we know them & the whole book felt like an introduction for the next book. Otherwise good read. Looking forward to Book 2
