We have collected here 450 best problems from Astronomy Olympiads conducted in Moscow since 1947, coupled with comprehensive solutions and explanations. For many years regional and international astronomical and astrophysical Olympiads have been conducted and winners subsequently have been amongst the best students in universities and later excellent specialists in astronomy and astrophysics. Practical astronomy, astrodynamics, astrophysics, planetology, and astronautics are the general subjects of the problems. These problems are of very different difficulty levels, from simple questions for young amateur astronomers to real problems for professionals. The book is aimed at school and college students and teachers, as well as amateur and professional astronomers. As Astronomy is not part of the school curriculum, this book will help prepare for participation in the Astronomy Olympiads. In true Russian tradition, the book uses problems to explain concepts in astronomy in a very engaging and interesting manner. The long-awaited English translation would be very useful.
