This is TF201 not TF01

Hi Guys.........
this is tf201 not tf101 and it has a Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad Core Processor....... not 1gz but 1.2 approx.... it has a super ips panel display.......which is currently better than ipad2 also...
ready to be updated to android vs4.0 out of the box.... very good for replacing a laptop... but very expensive and no docking station provided.....which means another 5000 bucks for it.............. also no 3g..... so pls think and buy..... coz half a lakh matters a lot........

Asus missed their golden chance already

Available at about 26k+tax in us(with international warranty, but not works in inda). What asus India was dreaming about, when they were puting such a high price tag in inda. First they are launched it 2 months late and now at this price tag when ipad3 is out. In short fail asus-India. Thumbs down. Asus India grow up and come out of your dream world. Android tabs got no option's other than to offer better hardware specs against iOS tab, which is aka iPad. Android need to cover long distance t...

TF101?

This must be the Tf201/Transformer Prime.
Asus didnt launch the TF101 32gb model in India. The 16gb model is available for 30k. 16k extra for 16gb more when it has a microSD slot in the tablet and an additional SD slot on the keyboard with 2 usb ports makes no sense.

If it is the Transformer Prime, then its a fantastic tablet, but 46k is still very pricey.

The rating/ 5 star is for the tablet, not the price. Both the original TF101 with tegra2 and TF201 with Tegra3 are great android tablets...

Correction !!!!!

TF201 brought from US or any country works any where in the world simply because wi-fi has no carriers !!!!!.

The reason why the cost is more in India is because of its import duty.

The tablet is available in Amazone , staples for 499.99$ - this is wifi without 3G.

A simple way to use your reliance netconnect / Airtel 3g / bsnl 3G or any data card is by using a 3G router like tp-link. This creates a wifi hot spot. Cost of this in flipkart is 1800/-.

Personally I like TF201 because its ...

Amazing product, was dreaming of buying this as soon as I saw reviews online, loved it. But the price is off the roof.. 50k for a TAB is way high. Would love someone gifting this.... :)

The Tablet Which Kills Every Other Tablet In Every Way Possible !!

Asus EEE Pad Transformer Prime TF201 is the BEST tablet in the world for a year now. It justifies the high price tag. One you own this tablet, you wouldn't want everybody else owning one too.

Asus has got rid of all the said WiFi and GPS issues. It now comes bundled with Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. You don't have to update your device. I own the Amethyst Gray version which is 10 million times better than the Champagne Gold model which is, by the way, the Poor Man's Transformer Prime.

Asus Transformer Prime tf201 with keyboard dock

First of all flipkart guys have posted the images of tf101 instead of prime tf201..:(
For the price mentioned it should be the 64gb model but again the description says that, it is the 32gb one...:(

Pros
Powerful processing core
Amazing battery life of 8 hours for just the tablet and 18 hours with the keyboard dock
A fully functional USB port
Elegant design
Super IPS display makes the screen readable even under direct sunlight
Large storage capacity of 64GB (plus expandable through microSD...

Worst pricing

Better get official Indian iPad2 for 25000. When the US version costs 2K, Rs46K is too much . Not sure what ASUS was thinking when they priced it at such. It may have Qua-core or better performance, for this price a big NO. Better I would live teh walled garden of Apple.

Hasn't anyone mentioned Wi-Fi, GPS issues?

If you all know this is the best Android tablets around. It is simply amazing with superb performance. But the people at Asus were in such a hurry they messed it all up. It has a tragic release story in the US and same was in India.

Tagged at an MRP of 50,000 anyone would go for a fully functional netbook rather than this.

Biggest tragedy was the Wi-Fi and GPS issues. Since there are two Wi-Fi antennas and one GPS antenna it should have a strong signal. But it's opposite, it hardly picks u...

this is the best tablet in market at the moment

Well...this is an in biased review... I have been using tf201 since last 3.5 months.. got it imported from USA.. performance is awesome.. UI is very snappy...price wise it is a bit costly in India.. tegra 3 gaming makes all the difference,it is comparable to console quality gaming... battery life is superb u can easily get 10-12 hours hours from it..besides I suspect price on flipkart may be inclusive of dock in keyboard... I bet previous reviews are all written by those who not even own a tr...
