the product looks and handles great. however, like any other Asus lappy, this one also heats up pretty fast. so buy yourself a fan from the go.
next, this Asus OS or expressgate cloud whatever, is crap. however, you can fix it by loading your own OS. the inbuilt OS loader does not recognize OS on USB drives, not even bootable ones. hence, best way is to first turn on USB from bios, and then press "escape"/ Esc button as the system boots. Have been using it for 2 weeks now. Has starting trouble as there was no OS bundled with the device, and not being tech-savvy, had a lot of trouble installing windows without a CD/DVD drive. Once I got going though, i noticed the following :

lightweight

cons : no OS
keyboard response is very slow - resulting in lots of typos

Good product in low cost
This is a good product in low cost. Light weight and good performance. Good battery back up lasts upto 8 hrs. Sound quality is not so good as can't hear properly without using the external speakers.

what a amazingggggggggggg product by asus..
Asus eeepc 1015cx netbook it is a good product at this price it has intel atom 2nd generation processor it has clock speed 1.6 ghz and also hdmi support its weight is 1.2 kg very good but it has no optical drive it has to use external.
i use windows 7 32bit it works better. i advised to customer do not use windows8 on that bcoz it has more grapics and its driver cd not supported for that.
i am very happy from this product...

Good Buy
Planned to have a handy laptop for my wife, Mainly for presentations and should be easy to carry. Now she is able to carry this in her hand bag. It is light weight and the battery lasts for long(at least 6 to 7 hours)... No need to carry your charger all along...

Best In Its Class But
Eee PC, as you probably know already, is incredibly slow. This product will work for those that are not familiar with full sized Asus laptops. Here are the issues that full-sized Asus users will find with Eee PC.
Even the cheapest Asus 15.6 inch laptops give you 4-6 hours battery backup. (Mine is over a year and still delivers 4 plus hours). Eee PC on the other hand delivers in the range of 6-8 hours. However, you compromise on:

It gives me 5 and half hrs of battery backup , I'm using this product for 1 and half years.
After 8 months , My netbook's keyboard & touchpad stop working. and global warranty saved me from huge expense. I got replacement of both parts with new one free of cost.
Asus care center Cochin was helped me a lot. nice peoples.
