Asus laptops are great for everyday use, as well as for office related tasks. You can easily switch between business and pleasure with an Asus F202E laptop and have your work securely stored away for later use. Having an everyday system as compared to a specialized system may be a good idea for those of us who do a wide range of tasks with the internet. Some of us will need it to finish up some important work left over from the office, others may need it to provide some high quality entertainment while kids would want to play some casual games on them.

Touch Precision

The Asus Laptop comes with a highly responsive Precision Touch screen that can help in providing for intuitive navigation through the UI of your laptop OS. The slick responses help in fast operation and seamless navigation as well.

Design Elements

The laptop is a designer’s masterpiece thanks to the sleek yet bold lines, bezel thickness and curves. The ergonomic design elements seen in the manufacture of the laptop puts it among the top trend setters in the laptop design segment of computing. The sleek look does not just make it look lighter, it also makes it possible for the manufacturers to create a truly lightweight laptop that can be lugged around with minimal effort.

Sound Enhancements

The Asus laptop is a great entertainment device for everyday purposes thanks to its stereo speakers with Sonic Master technology for superior sound performance. The sound enhancements work well even with external speakers connected to the device.

Smart Gestures

Touchpads are always the first points of contact for people with their new laptops. If a screen looks blank then bringing it back to life with a swipe on the touchpad rather than with the punching of a key is more common. The Asus laptop’s touch interface brings with it a natural smoothness thanks to the proprietary Smart Gesture technology incorporated into the touch pads.

Really good

I bought this for my wife and she is really happy with it. The touchscreen is good and responsive and it's quite easy to use it, all that theory about gorilla arms are plain wrong.
I liked this model a lot as it's compact and only 11-inches while all the other slim devices such as ultrabooks have 13 or 15-inch screens. This is perfect for someone who has to carry a device around for work the whole day.
The device is used mainly for word processing, browsing and for watching videos and there h...

Decent entry level Core i3

Received this lappie within 40 hours. Thanks a lot flipkart!

Being an IT lecturer, I don't use this laptop for hardcore gaming purpose. That's why won't review much on that part. I have installed Adobe Indesign CC, Photoshop CS6, Photoshop Lightroom, Brigde, Dreamweaver CC, Edge Animate, QuarkXpress, Total Video Converter, MS Office 2013 and some open source softwares. All of them run smooth, no problem at all. I have even tried opening 4-5 softwares at a time, still smooth.

Pre-installed W...

Superb ultrabook that performs and looks good while doing it

Go about most internet reviews and you will find them mentioning this as not being an ultrabook. And it isn't by 7mm in width officially. But hey, its very slim and very light at just 1.4kg. If you are a student or a traveller who wants a light laptop and not lug around a piece of heavy machinery, this is the perfect thing to invest in. Gives you the best value for money on the market right now.

- Price (you can't buy an ultrabook any cheaper than this, you get every bang for buck)

Review for US version X202E

The price was close to 24,000 when converted, so I don't know why Asus or our Indian government taxes is causing such a high price here for this low end device. Windows 8 is considered a failure in comparison with Windows 7 in so far the improvements are intrusive design changes and touch implementation that is rarely used in Windows native applications. Bing maps in metro mode does look magnificent, but who uses Bing anyway? The processor is on the slower end, but for 11 inch display you won...

1. Touchscreen laptop at this price and these specs: using windows 8 on a touchscreen is such a pleasure. you won't feel like using the mouse pad mostly! its just elegant.

2. The looks!!!!!!! it just looks so damn sexy! its sleek. it has a metal finish. It somewhat looks like...

Good One - Be ready to work some days to make it better

- First you need to update the OS to 8.1 - This requires to download 1.5G of data from internet.
- Second you need to update its BIOS - For this get into its BIOS by pressing F2 during reboot(not cold boot) and press F12 to know your version of notebook. Download the respective latest bios from asus support site. Mine is X202EA so i downloaded version 210.Download and use WinFlash tool to update the BIOS.
- Update your notebook with all normal Microsoft Windows update as well.

Fun Filled product...........

Planned to buy an upgrade for my net-book, was stuck with under powered Net book for my travels and everyday net browsing. After a long searching and wait I found this product F202E from Asus.

Good looking, sleek, light weight, handy like a net-book and yet powerful. Was not confident at all while seeing the product online in online-stores. But when I saw it in store, bought it on-spot.

This is my first week with this product and is very useful and handy, but I miss net-book's battery bac...

Budget laptop: Asus F202E VivoBook

Pros: Lightweight, touch screen, with decent processing power and battery backup.

Cons: In our case the HDD died in 2 years and needs to be replaced.
Windows 8 and windows 8.1 are a pain in the a$$. Install Ubuntu 14.04, no hassles.

Good for light work, not gaming perhaps.

Worst laptop purchase of my life - failed 4 times in 4 months - HDD/battery gone

I’m having such a harrowing experience with this piece of junk you call a F202E Vivobook laptop.
The ASUS laptop has again conked - when it was returned to me after repair of corrupt HDD and failing battery last time, the Windows was not activated - and it is still not activated. Even my paid MS Office 365 has now stopped working.
And now the battery is also instantly failing whenever the power adaptor is removed (intentionally or by accident, since the adaptor is always loosely connected to ...

Compact powerful travel friendly machine for light to mid-tech user

Highly recommend this budget-friendly and travel-friendly powerful laptop for light to mid-tech user. I use it mainly for word processing, browsing, some amount of CAD and GIS packages. Battery lasts for 4 hrs of continuous wifi internet usage, underside heats up a bit and win8 touch takes some getting used to, but other than that, I am fine with the system as it is.

I can not comment on the graphics card or gaming as I am not a power-user. However, I do run GIS softwares which run smooth. ...
