the screen quality is not great. but for 7K price its ok to have such quality and ASUS is also a good brand, and I think there are good amount of service centres. so I think its better to go for ASUS than karbonn, micromax in the service centre point of view.

So After using this Fonepad for a while it's very easy to realise this offers nothing great in the market.

The rear cam is VERY BAD and the Front cam .. NO WORDS !

the speaker provided give decent sound. that's it.

The build quality is okay.

Go for it only if you JUST NEED A TAB ! don't expect anything great from it.

Flipkart delivered it in no time. It was perfectly boxed and no hidden cost was there. But the Tab does not have a OTG cable, power charger. The rear camera is pathetic but the front camera is fine. It is useful for documentation, video streaming. It is not a gaming tablet. Many apps are not working properly and constantly displaying a messsage "Unfortunately not working". The wifi works fine.
Overall it is a good tablet and it will be in your budget.

This gadget is a nice piece (after using it for 2 months now).. following are few observations.

1. Image clarity is poor..
2. 2 GB of 4GB is reserved for the system and not useful.. not sure if this can be freed
3. Internal memory is too low to support any basic gaming activity.

Never tried the SIM card in this tablet.

Otherwise, still a nice gadget to use

As the price suggests, the Asus Fonepad is really an entry level tablet computer with very average specs and user experience. The screen is bright with vivid colours, however, the resolution is too low to give you a crystal clear display. Texts doesn't appear clear and appears irritating, especially if you are used to higher ppi displays. The cameras give very average results.

Go for it only if you are too tight on budget. Else, save up more and buy something better.

The tab is cool, screen is very bright & beautiful, touch is great but camera is ok type.
Overall its a good tablet under 7000 Rs with 8GB storage & brand like ASUS.

Cons: Manufacture mentioned that the power adapter & USB cable are part of packing but found that missing from the box. Please check before placing the order.

this is the average product tab under 10k and u can go for it without any hesitation if u dont need a brilliant camera as its camera quality is not good .

pros:
1.Intel inside Atom processor
2.nice processing but laggs at time reads the cons why
3. looks are nice and is very solid built (fell 2 -3 times, not even a hairline scratch)
4. speaker cum loudspeaker is loud and clear with crisp sound
5. ASUS brand logo (though its after service has gone worse with time Spclly in lucknow)
6. battery 4000MAh and it gives me a a backup of 1 day 20hrs with screen on time 7-8 hrs on medium brightness and average 10-15 ...

Pros : Descent screen size.
Good battery life.

Cons ; No option to choose user defined tones for SMS and Email alerts.
Some apps like VLC player and Utorrent are crashing. VLC crashes
with a message saying it is not compatible with this version of android.
