ordered this motherboard 5,6 days ago,got it yesterday.
installation goes pretty well.i had phenom x2 550.
pros:- am3+ (supports all old as well as upcoming amd processors)
-usb 3.0? (future of usb)
-heatsink between input/output ports and socket( provides efficient cooling)
-an epic bios (help overclocking and unlocking)
-supports 4,5 fans( more cooling)
-supports crossfirex setup (future of gfx cards?)
-supports HD audio and 6.1 systems.
-supports 32 gb dual channel ddr3 ram.

Superb mobo

This one is a superb motherboard. The UEFI BIOS and the features like mouse controlled BIOS tweaking makes this an ideal mobo for the price. I was really searching for the "EVO" or "PRO" version of this mobo which has some extra ports and some extras, since those are not available here in flipkart I went for this one.

Thank u flipkart for such a gr8 service.This motherboard is awesome, mainly because of some reasons. It gives all the new standard features at descent price.. New Amd FX series processor support, USB3, 6Gbps sata ports..PCIexpress 2 slot., upto 32GB ram support..7.1 HD Audio..almost it is very gud for build a budget gaming pc. A good motherprice at a good price.

This motherboard from ASUS is the entry level motherboard in the 900 series chipset category. It supports all of the new AMD bulldozer processors, supports crossfire, has a new GUI based BIOS,etc. If you are looking for a good gaming motherboard with a decent price, this one is the answer. Also, you will need to have a graphics card, as this one does not have any. Finally, a good deal from Flipkart.

Excellent motherboard!!

This is an amazing motherboard with lot of options in bios as well as on-board (LED checks).

The only doubt I had was if it will work with "AMD 3.5 GHz FX 8320 8 Core Processor Black Edition", since most reviews I read pointed out that it draws lot of power and it goes for a toast with the stock fan provided.

It works like a breeze with with the stock fan that comes with it - please note that I am not an over-clocker (not yet, may be in future if the rig feels slow).

The BEST Mobo for AMD FX

Im a gamer. I bought AMD FX 8350 8cores. And I purchased this motherboard. Specially for playing Battlefield 4.

This mobo runs perfect, great ventilation and good space. Even my AMD HD6870 fits perfect. This comes with 3 USB3 ports and 6 normal USB ports.

Mobo has UEFI BIOS, easy to update too.

Gr8 Mother for my gaming PC....

The Asus M5A97 is a gr8 motherboard with the latest features (like usb 3.0 and UEFI bios). Its a gr8 motherboard if you are looking for a good ATX motherboard for Phenom, Atlon and FX series processor.

Pros:-
1) Great heat-sinks around the socket
2) Dual channel Memory support (very common now-a-days)
3) USB 3.0 (no inbuilt header but at the IO panel)
4) CrossFireX Support.
5) Supports 1st gen FX processor and will also support the 2nd gen.

Cons:-
none

FYI it doesn't come with integrated...

ASUS M5A97 Product review

A very good product from ASUS. The motherboard comes with a AMD 9-series chipset, with which I used a Radeon HD 6750 2GB DDR3 card, with a AMD Phenom II X6 1090t processor(with WEI of 7.5), coupled with 8GB DDR3 @1333MHz. This motherboard, when combined with any good 6000-series, or 5000-series Radeon graphics card, gives outstanding performance.
Overall, a very good buy.
