Brought this product from local store a few days back & have been using it. Here are few points that I have observed.
Pros:
1) Core i7 4720 HQ 2.6 GHz (turbo boost upto 3.6 GHz) processor, which is really difficult to find within this price at this point of time. It is quite better than Core i7 4710 HQ 2.5 GHz (coming with Lenovo Y50) & definitely very much better than Core i7 4750 HQ 2 GHz (coming with Asus GL552JX-CN316T).
2) The display is really good. It is Full HD LED Anti-glare display...

It may not be an ROG officially but its definitely deserves the title. It has very few differences from ROG GL552 i.e.
1. GL552 has a 7200 rpm hdd which helps for faster loading of games
2.GL552 has 4 GB Nvidia GTX 950m while this one has a 2 GB (Most games hardly even utilize the 2 GB so not a big difference)
Whats bad? Well the keyboard letters are hardly visible even with lights on in the room sometimes. The glossy finish of the display back cover although looks good but is annoying as ...

Anybody looking for decent gaming laptop then this is the pick, the laptop will amaze you with its performance.
Though bought it from local store as there were no Flipkart Advantage seller. It is recommended to buy online as there is a significant price difference. Don't be lured that local stores are giving laptop bags(cheapest quality bag available in the market, ASUS doesn't provide Bags Except ROG laptops) and other accessories (useless products worth Rs 100).

I have been using this device for the past 3 months. After thorough usage of the device i can say that regarding the Indian market, this is the best price to performance ratio device available. You do make some sacrifices though, the thing is to know if the compromises are something you can live with.

Bought this laptop from asus authorised seller ..
Many reviews saying that the built of the laptop is not upto the mark ... I was also confused wether to buy this or not ..
But trust me ..
Body is well built and the configuration is just awesome for an entry level gaming laptop at this price .
Nvidia 950 works great with 8gb ram ..
Being a gamer , played Assassins creed syndicate , GTA5, just cause 3 , mad max , Far cry ..
None of them lagged ..
Runs smoothly .. Obvsly not on the ultra set...

Very good for the price
Runs windows 10 smoothly
Runs demanding games like GTA V and Witcher III at high settings smoothly
Heats up quite a bit
Screen has a slight yellow tint but that might be a software issue

It's a very nice product at this price and has a attractive look too.

Pros:
-i7 4th gen upto 3.6Ghz(u won't get even 2.6Ghz in this price anywhere else)
-gtx 950m(can handle anything except games with vr and few new titals)
-1080p(most of them will offer 1366×768)
-nice speakers

Cons:
-the screen is weak(avoid touching it)
-VGA webcam
-no backlight keyboard
-low battery life

If u are low on budget and want a gaming beast, go for this but better buy from a nearby Asus store and not from her...

It was a decent buy @60k but if gaming is your intent better go for a PC. So that its easy tp upgrade as tech gets outdated really very soon.
