.....what to say..........u get nvidia 820m, intel 4th gen i5,... and 4gb ram... ram can be extended later but processor cant be changed!!!.......... there is dvd drive and a single usb 2.0 port on right side....whereas there are 2 usb 3.0 ports, one hdmi , one ethernet and the cooling exhausts on left side... loaded windows 8 and the beauty works... 1 tb harddisk is also nice......although my entire data and work depend upon a 1tb seagate backup plus.... overall no issues so far..loaded with...

Asus X 550LD-XX064D X Laptop
Recently i hv bought dis product through flipcart within the price range it can be say as a extremly good product,usability is good enough.. but in another note i must say this product having some manufacture problem like web-cam does not work,usb 2.0 port doesnt work and some other..and its been 15 days i'm not able to fix it though i'm a software engineer.

1 TB HD, 4th gen i5 , 2 GB graph ... the laptop in undoubtedly one of the best laptops available in this price.but the specification given in the site are wrong
its acually 768 pixels not 1080pixels & it has 2 usb3 ports in addition to the one usb 2 port

Hi,
I am planning to buy this model , but not sure how much RAM it can be upgraded up to.
Though 4th Gen CPU can support up to 32 GB , but the limitations also on MB side.
On one site its mentioned that it have only one slot . Whereas one RAM is soldered on MB.
Also Flipkart don't have information mentioned regd this.
Can anyone please tell, How many RAM slots does this model have ??

Bettery Backup is not good
I rated this product as average. all feature are good but the battery backup is not good enough. its give less than 1:30 hr.
its working also very slow because of the processor speed..

OVERALL NICE PRODUCT
I bought it offline in july'14..and it cost me around Rs:-42,500 /..It looks trendy..I feel it is a good product ...We can do multiple tasks without getting a struct...thought it had many positive's many things worried me.they are 1)read/writre speed-just like i3 processor it is 8 or 9Mb/s....2) battery life is less than 2 hours 45 min.....3) little heat problem....4)sometimes web cam is not working correctly..
but when compared to my friends lappy i feeel mine was the best ..becoz they had...

Why such a Huge price gap?
Planning to change my laptop. Zeroed on this one and the Dell Inspiron 15 3542 Notebook so will decide soon and order with the exchange.
What's worrying me is that the same ASUS model is sold at amazon for INR 37250 without any exchange offers!
Flipkart needs to get the pricing right...or its become a shopping mall tactic to increase the pries and then put them on exchange offers??

purchased it for 40586rs.. has good looks and also well built too.. installed windows 8. it doesnt come with a bag thats why had to purchase it seperately.. i hope asus provide good service and maintenance too

Linux user beware.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Linux user should think twice, thrice....infinite times before purchasing this product. The mouse and the touch pad do not work at all if you install any version of Linux....
For Windows user... no problem... its a great deal!!!!!
