About the laptop, this one is a gem and has a good value for money. Slim and sleep and power efficient. It has a full keyboard and has downloadable windows 7 drivers if you dont want to install windows 8.1. Build quality might seem plasticky. No other cons whatsoever.

i recommend windows 7 or later.because it is easy to get the drivers from there site .

Good Laptop
This review is mainly for linux fans. First of all it comes with Atheros AR9845 wireless card, whose driver is included in most distributions. However the switch does'nt work with most distributions (including Ubuntu 14.04 and Fedora 20). You may get "Disabled by Hardware" in the network manager, which won't toggle even with Fn + F2. Don't panic, just open the terminal and give the following command :
sudo echo "options asus_nb_wmi wapf=1" > /etc/modprobe.d/asus.conf
Reboot, then everyt...

Pros: Good screen, Slim profile, adequate power for everyday computing tasks, Win 8 runs smoothly, Has Win 8 driver DVD, nice webcam,
Cons: Only 4 cell non-removable battery, Win 7 driver DVD not provided, only two usb ports
