I wanted a lightweight laptop for my development, web-browsing and general multimedia use. I have a desktop, Dell Latitude and MacBook Pro. But I wanted something cheap and small within a budget of 20k with very less weight and Mac-like behaviour and response for booting and closing the lid.

Given the progress Intel has made with 22 nm design with Ivy-Bridge and the recent Bay-Trail line of processors, I was curious about the Celeron processor on this laptop. It is a 3rd gen 17 w Ivy-Bridge...

My use of the laptop involves Python and and other coding. This laptop is perfect for arch linux. All the drivers are picked up within seconds and screen resolution is awesome with the screen size.

The touchpad is a little flimsy, but Linux is keyboard based, and the keyboard is awesome for a laptop of this size.

PS - The driver for wifi is Raillink 3290.

My Purpose was for a simple, light and basic Notebook for browsing, Office Applications, Movies, Music and Store Data and it perfectly suits the requirement.

Pros:
1. Light Weight
2. No Fuzzy back panels and Screws making it very Simple Looking.
3. Decent finger friendly keyboard.
4. USB 3.0, HDMI ports, 500 GB HDD
5. Non Glossy, Non Slippery firm Plastic Design.

Cons:
1. Low Power, No replaceable Battery, Doesn't provide Long Backup.
2. Gets little warm on normal Usage, So keep it on table...

I was thinking of buying a Tablet but, i thought why wont i go for small one which which will fulfill all requirment . I got this one and this is the money woth it.

flipkart saying 3 hour + backup but why im getting 1 hour 30 mint backup ..

using windows 7 not doc that's the issue ? ?

very compact , very useful. good battery life. only flip side is track pad. generates auto click when you are typing on keyboard.

battry z not removable so heats up quickly.

i have purchased this item from flipkart . After 2nd time use I can see the screen is fully white in color . I cant see on Monitor/display . So careful while buying this product .
