Build quality: Compared to other laptops felt this one is of lower build quality, I have used Lenovo and Dell also compared to them this lacks the build quality but more than enough for normal use. There are no dedicated keys for multimedia , like volume up down mute etc
Configuration: More than enough I played Modern Warfare 3, this plays with ease but gets heated more.

ASUS MOTHERBOARD PRODUCTS ARE SAID TO BE VERY GOOD AND MOST OF THE PC AND LAPTOP ARE SAID TO BE BUILT WITH ASUS MOTHERBOARD .. WHILE COMING TO THE LAPTOP ASUS ARE REALLY GOOD .. STILL NOW I DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEM REGARDING GAMING AND OTHER OFFICE WORKS,, IT LOOKS GREAT AND THE MAIN REASON WHY I BOUGHT IS GAMING CAPACITY.

the product is awesome... Processor amazing... windows runs flawlessly..
the heating is a issue still.. try to keep the fan area clean and preferably in a stand..
The laptop is just fine.. go for it.. Battery even after using for 1 year of hardcore usage lasts for 3+ hrs i.e. if you don't play game or code big time..

Got it from Flipcart this morning,

family members and friends criticized me for choosing a cheeper laptop in i5 configuration.

but their critics lasts till i opened the package, they even started appreciating the backpack too

Aluminium finish, solid good built quality
easy to type chciklet keyboard (keys are bigger like in the normal keyboard)
Installed my windows 7 ultimate then installed the drivers CD provided by ASUS

ASUS provided Trend micro antivirus kit

So far its going so good now

I bought this laptop from a local dealer as I was getting it at the same price that was offered by Flipkart. Mind u I got it from a wholesaler friend of mine and that too the same price as quoted by Flipkart.

-2nd gen i5 at such a price is a steal.
-4gb RAM which helps in multitasking.

Placed order few days back and flipkart delivered promptly.

But for me i dont see any benefit in ice-cool specified by Asus.

On contrary it is a hot furnance around the palm area.

Planning to return the laptop if it continues.

Keyboard is pathetic & remaining things are file.

Pros:
1) Processor speed is excellent
2) Cheap price

Cons:
1) It gets hot very easily.
2) Keyboard is difficult to type.
