When I got this laptop .. I was worried for how to install another OS in it. But booting from USB drive and installing windows 8 now it feels relaxed. It works so smooth in windows 8.
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS or 12.04 LTS is also good option for professionals. Its booting/ start-up time is also very good (less than 5 sec. ) Outer looks are too good. Ya but keyboard and touchpad is of bad quality specially for rough handler, game addicted person like me.

Friends I have purchase this laptop and satisfied with this. I install win 7 and win 8 its work smoothly and I use Dreamweaver, Tally, SAP B1, SAP R3 and Photoshop and also Play Game Like COD and NFS

Bought and using this Laptop for about a few months now. My personal Assessment:
Pros:
1. Quite nice laptop given its a Celeron Dual Core
2. Chiclet Keyboard (May be a problem for some, but I prefer chiclet keyboards)
3. RAM upgrade ability to 4GB (On board 2GB)
4. Runs XP, VIsta, 7, 8 Seamlessly with 64 Bits
5. Big Screen with decent screen contrast

1. Not having a DVD Drive (Although a provision is there, since the slot is there, and the cover can be removed)

Pros:
Gives better than expected performance (casual work, multimedia)
Gotta love the installed track-pad gesture functions
Has a single Smartphone-type 3.5mm port for mic/headphones (use of headsets possible)

Cons:
Screen quality isn't very good but it's still good enough for watching movies
Lacks ODD but it's not required that badly since we use USB devices more these days

I wanted a spare laptop. And this one is well within the cheaper range but better configuration. Battery is irreplaceable. But stands for good 3hrs. Laptop is specifically designed for Windows8 and higher. Look and feel is good. Worth buying for the basic home needs and surfing purpose.

If you are looking for 15" laptop with basic config this is best for you.
