Bought this phone as a gift for my dad...he loves it!
+ KitKat + ZenUI makes the interface smooth and quite intuitive
+ Haven't noticed any lag during transitions (1GB RAM helps)
+ Camera is pretty decent in well lit conditions and when the background is not too crowded (5MP primary camera). Also has a host of neat settings and processing features
+ As with all Asus devices, the phone looks damn good and feels quite light yet robust

Was about to buy it from Flipkart last month, when I saw a 20% discount coupon from ebay. So, got it for around 5100/-.

Pros -
1) Awesome build quality. Feels like a premium smartphone
2) No lag in performance. Most of the apps / games run smoothly.
3) Rear Camera is too good for the price. Much better than phones costing 12-15k.
4) I have my wifi or 3G on for the entire day, use whatapp and facebook for a couple of hours and play games for about an hour. For me, I get a battery backup for 1...

Let me start by giving you the profile of the ideal user of this phone. -
1. Someone who is NOT a gamer but spends around 1 hour on gaming daily.
2. Someone who does light to moderate internet surfing (3-5 hours of surfing)
3. Someone who is not stuck on phone calls for hours together
If you fit into the points mentioned above, this phone is for you. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, the red colour is really the best of the lot.

Recommend to buy if your budget is upto Rs. 6000/- Though the front camera is not that great (VGA), but you cannot expect anything better in this rate.

It's a better option rather than Zenfone4 but like other Zenfones lacks battery life. from my last update my mobile is having some short of lagging issue, Don't know why it is happening(I guess due to high RAM consumption), Display is crispy and clear. Images and videos are out standing(Can't beat the Pixel Master Technology). Overall a good budget mobile device.

Best Phone I've used. Worth 6K. Simple features, good phone overall. But need to work on audibility during a call and need bit more internal space,8gb is not enough for a phone of these standards.

I think this is a good product for the reasonable price. Nice Screen and APPS by ASUS made this very interesting. Screen in not strong and replacement of the screen is too costly.
