This book is phenomenal. Beautifully written, it delves into the mind of a thirteen year old who wreaks havoc in the grown ups' lives. She is neither woman nor girl, an inbetween, a misfit. Atonement by Ian Mcewan
Very rarely you read a novel these days where full justice has been made on the engilsh language and the emotional content of the plot . I believe Ian has done just both of them very successfully. After Ii read the book I saw the movie and the n went back for second reading. The passion , the pathos the uncontrolable consequences in our lives have been depicted by Ian Mcewan is commendable . The tragedy is almost similar to the tragedies in greek dramas .
