Great Headphones. But don't buy if you are into bass only.

These headphones are the best thing you can get under 3.5 k. These sound as accurate as possible. Neither bass heavy neither treble, perfectly balanced.
Buy if you want to enjoy clear music.
Cable is tooo long.

Sheer satisfaction for my cravings of Bass, Mids and Treble.

I bought these cans from flipkart a fortnight back. Before getting these, I watched video reviews and read nearly about every audio technica's headphones under 12k, especially m50/m50x, the product that they're famous for. This company defy the rules of making excellent quality headphones at such a competitive price. With this pricing tactic, they just beat the beats audio's. I'll just classify my review pointwise below:

Build Quality & Comfort: It has a plastic built and it feels really stu...

Flatter than the Earth Before Galileo

Don't expect Skullcrusher bass vibrations from these pair for headphones, the M in M20x is for monitoring, that is, the frequency response is perfectly flat, so you hear the tish of the high-hat as clearly as you hear low strung bass.

These are killer headphones for the price point. Better than any Beats you could possibly buy. Meant for people who appreciate music, not for people who are looking to make fashion statements. The cable is insanely long and seems to have aircraft grade insulati...

Perfect for Home Use

It's been three days, and I think I've burnt these headphones in nicely. They do sound great right out of the box - but there's a little more body to the sound now.

They're obviously not as mindblowingly awesome as the M50xs - however, do bear in mind that these are priced between a third and a quarter of them. The M20x does not provide the same flat sound - there's a little emphasis on the low end (which is not unpleasant), but the clarity is nonetheless great. Personally, for general use,...

Must buy!

Very good quality headphones.

1. The sound quality is very good.
2. Clarity in all types of sounds is very good.
3. Bass is perfect for all types of songs. But it is still low so that u can get music clarity. Purchase poweramp from playstore and u will be amazed at how well the bass becomes. If u think bass is low which Infact is... Poweramp will solve the problem very efficiently. U can try poweramp free for 14 days.
4. Flat sound does not mean that there is no bass in these headphones....

Just wow!

Long term review (Using it for 4 Years).

Lets gets straight, In my life I have never used an earphone or headphone for this long, because most of them will get tarnished either having wire problems or ear cups getting dilapidated.

But this one is still keep going even with my moderately above aggressive usage. I used to carry around wherever I go. Let it be bus, office, you name it.

Sound:

As every other review they sound amazing. Does the sound degrades over the years?

No, It doesn't. ...

First Impressions - A Real Paradigm Shift

I bought this headphone after reading very good reviews over here and in other websites/videos. Previously I was using Senheisser HD202 which is a really good headphone.
There is an actual shift in paradigm when switching over from HD202 to ATH-M20x! Its like changing over from a first person gaming to a third person gaming, in all its sense. On HD202 the music rang inside my head and I was one with the music. But on M20x its like I am in a room with the whole orchestra around me. I don't kno...

Highly recommended

Pros:
1. People say it's a flat sounding headset and doesn't have enough bass. But I feel that the bass feels really good on this one.
2. Even though it has high impedance but you don't need to worry. My Redmi Note 5 is able to produce good volume in it. I generally listen at 15 ish volume in other headsets but I prefer 22ish with this one. (out of 25)
3. I have large ears but it is still very comfortable and sits around the ear.

Cons:
1. The ear cups could have been softer.
2. The cable is...
