Would like to use only one word..."SUPERB"... I hav tried many brands of headphones & was a hard core Bose fan before I got my hands on this Audio Technica wonder..Would like to summarise my review in 2 points as under:-

Build Quality:- They look quite sturdy & strong...In my view Bose should hire some of the R&D people or engineers from AT to learn something regarding the build quality...Bose Headphones look & feel quite flimsy...specially their cables r very thin & thus r more prone to get...

THE GOOD:PURE AWESOMENESS.don't judge the music quality on 1st hearing,my advice-give ample time listening to it,you will notice the difference.great EARMUFFS at times of winter.
THE BAD:headband tend to slip from the head due to gravity due to its heavy weight when tried on lying position.
THE UGLY: TRUTH i got it just for 7985 during million day offer.

AWESOME headpones.Look classy.I own the limited blue edition.I use them with a nexus 4(has low volume compared to other phones).If you want to unleash the full potential of these headphones pair them with an apple device or an amp or a really good output device
(p.s-please don't ever compare them to beats.Its an insult to audio technica and basically all ther headpone brands)

Bought this after lots of research (thanks MKBHD) and it’s been one of the best purchase I've ever made

Solid built and good ergonomics, very comfortable, Sound quality is great, highs are crisp and bass is tight

It’s not having active noise cancelling, but good enough for personal use at home, office or any other quiet environment

Limited Edition blue looks fabulous and best thing for me is long straight cable; I've not touched my Jabra wireless headphone since ages :)

This is the best headphone for its price . Build quality is excellent . I love the detachable and different types of cables provided . The best thing is its sound quality .

I bought this limited edition headset after reading several reviews online. In this price range it is best in class further more better than 20k beats headsets as well. The adjustments are very precise n fine to suit any head. The noise isolation is beautiful and the leather ear pads are so comfortable u wont know they are on u. The music is unbelievable, when i say unbelievable not ear drum popping bass but clarity. Every small instrument in the song becomes noticeable and the harmony blends...

So here are some details that you might not find in other reviews..

ATH-M50 was really good but ath-m50x is way better.
The ear cushions are made of extremely soft but still very durable stuff. You don't need to worry about the durability of the headphones as they can survive years with what they are made of.

Also, It doesn't matter if you have small ears or gigantic ones, it's a perfect fit for everyone. You can wear these headphones and watch the whole movie and you won't notice a thing...

BAss headheads might be disatisfied with ath m50x. Other than that everything is damn good and nothing can beat them upto 25k period.


if u need bass and same clarity try Sennheiser HD 7 DJ - best clean bass ever

I am content with its sound quality -

1. It has pure, tight, neutral, crisp and punchy base.
2. It sounds really phenomenal.
3. Build quality is really good - headphone and its cables feels premium when you touch them.
4. You can listen to all the sound effects clearly.
5. Clarity is maintained at high level of volumes.

i really love the clearity of the headphones,really very smooth and comfortable to use,this is my first experience with audio technica and i m already a fan of it,value for your money.enjoying my music,loves to watch movies thums up for audio technica
