Precision Redefined..!!

The main reason for me buying this headphone was for some silent bass practice at odd hours and what attracted me the most was the frequency range offered at this price..Audio Technica as a brand needs no introduction, what does is the product. So here it goes...

ATHPROMK2:- plugged it in straight into my bass amplifier and my Yamaha RBX270J started to sound like a Marcus Miller Jazz bass, simply amazing. (Yes thats the first thing i did before trying it out on music tracks)
Next up was my i...

A piece of ART

I badly wanted to buy an audio technica since the very first time i had my ears sunk in with an ATH m50x at my buds studio. Knowing that m50x was a studio monitoring headset and not the one for daily use i was looking out for other variables.

Then, as you would say, my karma was nice to me and landed me on this phenomenal piece.

I know that there could be better headphones out there to par in this range, but adding the factor i got it at 41% discount on the price, i would say this is the ...

Just one word, Awesome :)

I am not much of an audiophile but I do appreciate good music.
The bass on this one is punchy but tight and not all over the place, the high end is clear the mids are good, and it remains nice all the time.
They are a little tight on head, but may be in a few days i'll get used to it.
The leaks a lot so, as much you might enjoy the music on this one, your colleagues are gonna be irritated.
Overall worth the money.

Fun pair of headphones

This is the first time I am buying a pair of headphones that are not IEMs and so I don;t have a reference to compare these headphones against. But from daily use and after about 10-15 hours of burn in I can safely say that these sound great. The sound is partial towards bass but it is tight and not all over the place. The mids and highs are clearly pronounced and sounstage is okay(ish) but thats to be expected off a djing headphone. Bottom line is that people who want punchy tight puch bass a...

Buy It.

Technically the best headphones for the price range. Very happy with the performance. The only problem seems to be the comfort. Pads does go over the ear completely so might hurt after hours of using. I still use it for all my electronic music projects.
