    Description
"Aurangzeb Alamgir (1658), The sixth Mughal emperor, is widely reviled in India today. Hindu hater, murderer and religious zealot are just a handful of the modern caricatures of this maligned ruler. While many continue to accept the story-line peddled by colonial-era thinkers that Aurangzeb, a Muslim, was a Hindu - loathing bigot here is an untold side to him as a man who strove to be a just, worthy Indian king. In this bold and captivating biography, Audrey Truschke enters the public debate with a fresh look at the controversial Mughal emperor.",

    Awesome

Few historical personalities have been so relevant and influential to times centuries later after their death, as has been the mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Whether the controversies surrounding him were wilfully created to further some vested interests by weaving a verbose web of ill sustained arguments or whether the controversies were a spontaneous plain narrative of unbiased history based on verified sources is a hard fought debate that rages on.

The present book by an expert on the topic a...

    Terrific

Courageous and applaudable work done by the author. Picking up Aurangzeb is like playing with hive of honey bee. Good book will suggest readers should buy and see the other narrative and discourse about Aurangzeb and this book challenge the existing narrative which was set by Historian like Jadunath Sarkar, who had written extensively on Aurangzeb.

    Good read

    Pathetic lies

Audrey is a foreign agent who is trying to destroy Indian history. She hates Modi and considers Hindu nationalism a huge threat as opposed to a mass genocidal murderer. Take your communist, liberal and degenerate lies elsewhere Audrey. And repeat after me: President Trump. *hands lubricant*

Its listed in Non Fiction Genre, which is completely wrong.

This is just a propaganda attempt by the author who must be funded by Saudi Arabia and/or Pakistan. This is a sinister attempt to distort Indian as well as Sikh history. This book and its author should be boycotted and Flipkart should remove books like these from their market place as books like these justify and glorify communal violence done by Tyrants in the past.

    Glorifying medieval Osama

If Aurungzeb was a decent man, then Osama must be declared a saint. What Aurungzeb has in common with modern world is, he was a staunch follower of conservative Islam which is nowadays known as Wahabbi Salafi branch of Islam. He murdered his father and murdered all his brothers but his murder of Dara Shikoh(rightful claimant to the throne) was particularly disturbing as he took pleasure in his murder pointing Dara as a Sufi heretic. Also he publicly executed ninth Sikh Guru Teg Bahadur for s...
