Mimi Gladstein is Chair of the Department of Theatre, Film, and Literature at the University of Texas at El Paso. She is the author of many books including Feminist Interpretations of Ayn Rand, The Ayn Rand Companion and The Indestructible Woman in Faulkner, Hemingway, and Steinbeck. MIMI REISEL GLADSTEIN is Professor of English and Associate Dean of Liberal Arts at the University of Texas at El Paso. In addition to The Ayn Rand Companion (1984), she is the author of The Indestructible Woman in Faulkner, Hemingway, and Steinbeck (1986), and coeditor of Feminist Interpretations of Ayn Rand (1999). She has won international awards for her teaching and scholarship on John Steinbeck.
