Today all countries see their progress through architectural development. That is why profession of architecture is increasingly occupying a key position in the development programs of all the countries. The JEE(Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE(Advance). For admission to NITs, centrally funded Technical Institutions and other participating institutions, the merit list shall be prepared based on 40% weightage to School Boards marks in class 12th or equivalent examination and 60% weightage to JEE(Main). The weightage to School Boards/ Equivalent examination marks shall be considered after normalization. Requirement of papers for JEE(Main) is kept different for different courses.
