Before buying this I have had rotis from an electric roti maker and simply loved it.
But I must say you got to learn certain things (or should I say tricks) before you are a master at this.
Here are my tips.
I've seen that the dough should be a little more moist than usual . Off course that varies with every person. And it should be fresh.
Heat it for at least 5 - 7 mins before starting off.
The cake size should larger than usual (again this varies).
Make sure there is no hole in the roti aft...

At first when i got this product i have not made a good rotis.

But, before blaming the product i have given one another tried by referring the websites.

Then i have got the best rotis ever made.

The secret to make good and soft, fluffy rotis is following:

1) Take a good fine powdered or grindered and filtered wheat flour.
2) Add salt and water. The content of the water should be little more than the normal roti preparation process.
3) U can also use curd or milk for making dough in that ...

I have seen that people are relating this to well known brand " bajajelectricals ".
FYI, this product has nothing to do with Bajaj Electricals.

A gift to my mom, in the beginning a bad experience, later quite acceptable after 3-4 test attempts, the secret here is to make the dow very soft yet non sticky.

One more point for the readers, please remember that this is BAJAJ VACCO roti maker and it has nothing to do with the famous BAJAJ company brand, so please don't go with the name.

Over all the product looks good and is acceptable.

hi all, this is my second roti maker, the first one wasnt bought from flipkart.

this one is working just fine. you have to get the knack of making rotis right in a roti maker. make sure the dough is softer than usual, make a ball, roll it into the atta and place it on top and centre of the machine. voila...u get a nice awesome tasting roti.
one thing is for sure, the rotis made from a roti maker is far far tastier than on a tava. and a lot of guests at home have seconded that too.

Firstly, kudos to Flipkart, as usual, for the prompt delivery. I got this two days before the promised date, so that made for a fantastic first impression.
I've been using this for the past few days, and I'm already very impressed.
It may take you some time to get used to it initially, but once you find the ropes of it, I promise you, you will never go back to the old-school tava-made rotis :D
Besides rotis, you can also make parathas, khakras and papads, which is very handy.

Roiti size is not big.. But still a good product to save time and labor. Very easy to handle also.. Worth of value.. Also Demo CD is quite helpful.

The product seems to be a local make and the brand is also not heard of. Good if Flipkart deals only in reputed products which gives regular customers like us the confidence to buy.
