Marvelous!

The name of the book being Baramulla Bomber, I was very intrigued by it when I came across its Facebook page. A native of Baramulla myself, and an ardent lover of books, I wanted to lay my hands on the book as soon as it came in the market. Thankful to the angel called Suraj aka Clark Prasad, who sent me the book as an ARC and got my soul the peace it deserved.
The larger than life hero of our book is Mansur Haider, a small town guy with no ordinary dreams. We meet Mansur initially at the Af...

Brilliant

Clark Prasad has delivered a power packed thriller. Baramulla Bomber is a good, quick, and easy read. The suspense is built right from the start. The story is racy, well researched, and packed with twists and turns. The writing makes us feel like we are watching a movie. The characters in the book are always in the thick of action. India is and had always been at a state of war. Hence the contents in the book are powerful, the events mentioned are chillingly real. Science fiction, internation...

Fact based fiction

The book starts with what seem like some random events but even chaos has some pattern to it. Once you get a feel of what the author is building towards, its impossible to leave the book for another sitting.
Covers a range of topics from dynastic home minister, several spy agencies, army and all linked by cricket with a superb twist at the end. A must read for fiction reader!

A thriller that picks up pace post 100 pages!

I've read a few "hit" Indian mythology --> sci-fi based novels - this is a book to reckon with among them. It is definitely many notches above the much lauded "The Krishna Key" (which I found extremely poorly edited and written).

The "BB" (Baramulla Bomber) jogs through the 1st 100 pages and then picks up pace (like 10km/hr --> 100 km/hr !) post the 100th page - I couldn't wait to read what happened next!

What is very interesting, is the author's theory of a religious conspiracy , very much...

Amazing screenplay

I bought this book for a friend who likes the science friction. However the book is amazingly written. After my friend I completed it too and we both loved it.

Not the easiest read but well worth the effort

Really great concept! I always wondered why, with all the Indophiles around who harp about the ancient texts, we never see any impact from any of them in our daily life so it's awesome to read a book that explores that concept at some level. Well researched and impressive in its breadth of scope. As far as cons go, the editing and flow are a bit choppy and can distract from the story a bit. But if you persevere through the initial chapters, you will be well rewarded. A really great start from...

A different read!

It's says science fiction espionage thriller and boy it does have all of that....what strikes you when you read Baramulla Bomber is the sheer width of the topics covered and the painstaking research done in order to lend credibility to a subject which is complex and subjective...

Clark Prasad has woven it all together skilfully and if I had not known that it was his debut novel before I started reading it, I would never have guessed it. From the brilliant portrayal of all the main characters...
