A life from a different era

A well written and touching account of the life and achievements of BK Birla. The backdrop of the story also tells you of an India from a different age and how businesses had to created with those shackles on. You realise that what is generally taken to be a privileged life really wasn't so, at least not in the initial years and despite being the son of a great man, things had to be earned the hard way.

    Book review

If you bought this book to learn how the birla empire is built .......its a waste of time
This has more of the family melodrama of the birla family almost equal to a colors tv serial with
almost no reference to problems or economic conditions of the past
