This is a good book for those who are new to batman legacy. The cost is on the higher side though. The actual comics is 76 pages long. Next 100 pages are add-ons and raw sketches by Mazzucchelli. If you are into comic art/ drawing/ sketching you will love this book.

this is a gr8 starter book for anyone who wan'ts to get the hang of reading comics.Its a gr8 re-intro to the dark knight-how he started and made his way through his dark past. The book is no less a gr8 collectible also.

This is the ultimate Batman story. The story of Bruce Wayne and Jim Gordon is told with such realism that it's mesmerizing. This book is definitely something that will stand the test of time. I feel that even non Batman fans will enjoy this book. It's that good.

Now this is how Batman started, and its a Frank Miller comic so there's no doubt about the quality of the story. Then there's apt artwork that again, is amazing. If you've watched Batman Begins, you will find the second half has been almost picked entirely from this comic. And the included concept-art section is also amazing. But if you are a real Batman comics' collector, go for the deluxe edition. Because this is only one of a kind, fellas.
