It is a must read book for all.

Seema has come up with a brilliant idea of writing a well-structured book on a serious issue like depression, which is also considered a social stigma! People are shy about discussing this issue openly and as a result of this hesitation, there is very little awareness on the subject. This book has been written in a very simple and easy to understand language. It not only helps to introspect and identify your own issues but also teaches you how to prevent the relapse. All the exercises and bre...

Must Have One Copy for a Family

After reading this book and the symptoms and the testimonies of patients described in their own words in the book, I could analyze my own problem of going through and leading an uncomfortable life without any reason. I was not aware of such therapy and I had no idea where to go, or whom should I address. Simplistic English, the book is a boon to both old as well as young. This book enlightens the effects that occur during breakdowns, and its repercussions related to mental health and thereaft...

The first of its kind

Beating the blues....not just a book on depression but a guide to a lifestyle change....
In a society where depression is treated like a social stigma, this book comes as a breath of fresh air....
For adults and children alike, its simple language makes the book a good read....
The highlight of the book is the first hand experiences of some of Dr. Seema's patients....a lot of people would be able to relate to the problems cited there and the solution is the book itself....
This book is not ju...

Euphoria.

I've read some of the great authors in my time, and to put Seema Hingorrany's book in the same bracket wouldn't be too much of an exxageration. The book sets out to deal with depression, but what it really does focus on, is just to be happy- and find euphoria. So, I'd recommend and promote this book as a happiness guide, rather han an overcoming depression guide (which it so ably does). I liked the writing style, the hard-thought of content, and the major break-throughs the book brought about...
