    Description

From Aditya Magal, the writer behind the famous blog ‘The Secret Journal of Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’ which is based on the billionaire stockbroker’s life, comes a hilarious satire on success entitled How to become a billionaire by selling nothing.

    Summary of the Book

An eccentric entrepreneur's dreams of success are stepped on when a billionaire stock investor with a dragon-sized ego he approaches for funding shoos him away with a meager 1 Lakh, advising him to consult a psychiatrist. The entrepreneur takes the money to hit back on the billionaire by manufacturing the most innovative product possible: NOTHING! He pays the billionaire back by assigning him a stake in the company for his help. The entrepreneur's marketing skills help land investments by the hundreds, even from the deep-pockets of Indian politicians. The billionaire is vexed with his stake, one that he has unexpectedly picked up. Its value increases every day, and attracts the attention of some of the richest men in the world. However, this ride to success is cut short as another company claims that the entrepreneur has infringed on their ideas. In this spoof on success, the writer spares no one, and his writing captures the humour and absurdity of India

    Sold this Book for Nothing

This reveiw is only for sane and ecletic readers, the book is written mostly sitting on the commode and filled with loads and loads of crap. The author is going all out on Twitter to promote his book by appending each one of his tweets with the number of books sold so far. "3 cheers" Mr. author, you are successful in buying out people.
While you think or read through the sattire there is nothing humorous and one can draw a significant comparison with Sajid Khan's shitty movie dialogues. Over...

The book is a laughing riot; you won’t even be able to count the number of times you will slip from the chair, laughing It’s the story of two men, His Humble Holy Awesomeness Sir Sri Jhunjhunwala – a fun loving and egoistic millionaire who is also a victim of Awesomitis, with whom I have fallen i...

    It's a fun read

I picked up this book while casually going through new releases on flipkart...the topic interested me and so was the character "Jhunjhunwala". This is a hilarious read as the author takes a dig at everything right from selling useless products with 99 price ending strategies, political and economic situation, celebrities, media houses etc. The main character heavily borrows traits from the legendary investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala who is a larger than life guy extremely rich and AWESOME. The fun...

A must read book with a very different story, will keep you in splits!

A very different story with a fabulous ending. The caricatures and humour go very well and hand in hand in this work of fiction . Rakesh Jhunjhunwala's image is used to tell a funny story with a deep rooted meaning that looks at business and India in general. Outrageous concept and brilliant execution. Kudos!

Highly recommended for a unique story and characters with funny and unconventional bold writing.

For someone who reads PG Wodehouse, I don't expect Indian Humor to be that great but this book is really funny. It deals with an absurd idea that turns out to mean something else by the time you finish the book. Best part is the larger than life image of the lead character and the overstating ego of the entrepreneur which makes for a hilarious and gripping read. Only complaint is that the book is a bit long at 380 pages but that said the author is able to sustain the humor throughout along wi...

The worst book I have ever read..

This is the worst book I have ever read. I was fooled by the author with his tweets and retweets. I wasted my time and money on this pathetic book... I wish I could give ZERO Star to this book... :(

As I know him. Mr. awesble.

I've known Aditya on twitter and this guy is insanely funny. Awesome + humble = Awesble. That's what I know him as.

The day I came to know he's written a book I first prepared for a stomach ache because I knew it would be funny beyond wits. And guess what IT IS! Also he has mentioned himself as a beer connoisseur but let me tell you his beer drinking skills have been picked up from me!

Nonetheless, if you have a dull day or are going through a rough phase just read this book at the end of ...

    Brilliant Read

Having an imagination is 1 thing, but to make you believe in that imagination as if it was reality is quite another.
Aditya Magal does a splendid effort in his first book. One of the funniest men on twitter and now one funny author.
Hope to read more of his work in the future.
