He didn't have a name. He was a mercenary. For the right amount of money, he would do anything. He didn't care what people called him. For the sake of money he inflicted an unimaginable wound on the sweet and innocent Jyoti (Juhi Chawla). She seeks a cure from the very same man who had inflicted this wound on her. Gradually she was able to pierce his armour of rough manners and rude speech. She started calling him Deepak (Anil Kaoor). Together they set out on a fresh journey. But his past tries to block his way of truth. In the eternal fight between good and evil, good is always supposed to overcome.
