This compact and economic camera is perfect especially for the young and those bitten by the travel bug. With a focal length of 6.3 - 18.9 mm, the BenQ C1430 has a 35mm equivalent focal length of 35.5 - 106.5 mm. The advanced BSI CMOS image sensor in the C1430 camera captures images with outstanding clarity at 14 megapixels irrespective of lighting conditions.

This point and shoot camera has an optical zoom of 3x, digital zoom up to 5x in Preview mode and up to 12x in Playback mode. The ergonomically designed BenQ camera provides a comfortable hold and has a simple yet classy design. The control buttons are placed close to the display screen for easy accessibility.

Weighing only 110 g without battery and SD card, the BenQ digital camera will easily fit in your pocket. The C1430 records HD videos with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixel (30fps). The 2.7 inch TFT LCD monitor has an image display resolution of 230,000 dots offering lively images and videos. This point and shoot supports 16:9 aspect ratio.

Battery and Storage

The BenQ digital camera supports SD or SDHC cards for storing images and videos. One of the best features of this point and shoot is that it runs on 2 AA batteries which are easily available in the market. Performance

The aperture setting controls the amount of light that falls on the image sensor every time you capture an image. The BenQ camera has an aperture of f/2.9 - 5.4. In the Normal mode, this camera has a focus range starting from 10 cm (Wide), and in the Macro mode, the focus ranges from 10 - 100 cm (Wide). The ISO ranging from 100 - 1600 allows you to capture the finest details of a subject even in low lighting conditions or under bright sunlight.

The C1430 has a shutter speed of 1/2000 - 1 second. This allows you to capture clear images of children playing in the park or a moving car. The built-in flash of this point and shoot comes with diverse settings like Auto Anti Red-eye, Force On, Slow Sync and more. These settings help capture comprehensive images even in the dark.
