I bought this after too much of confusion between panel type, contrast ratio, response time etc. We do have good options with Dell and Samsung but at this price, this would be the best you could get if you are looking for non-hardcore gaming and HD videos/image editing.

The Best monitor for the price and even better than higher priced models. 24 inch is the perfect size for close viewing. I use my PlayStation 3 and laptop with this monitor, Simply MIND BLOWING.
