Author Info
Samya Jayachandran is a fifteen-year-old writer with a deep love for language and storytelling. An avid reader, she is drawn to a wide range of genres, including murder mysteries, philosophy, psychological thrillers, mythology, and science fiction, as well as both light-hearted and emotionally resonant narratives and the occasional dense political essay.
She has been writing consistently since childhood, using poetry as a means to understand and articulate her inner world. Her work has been published in The Zeitgeister Magazine and in anthologies by Scholastic India and Nexus Publishing. She secured second position (individual) in Collaborative Writing at the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round in Baku, 2024.
When she is not writing or reading, she enjoys spending time with her younger brother Siddharsh or her ginger tomcat, Chengba—whichever is more agreeable at the moment.
