The Big Bang Theory follows the lives of four brilliant geniuses who are hopeless when it comes to women. The show was created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady who also co-wrote the episodes with Steven Molaro. This situational comedy stars Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar and Kaley Cuoco with support from Melissa Pauch and Mayim Bialik. Leonard and Sheldon work at Cal Tech in Pasadena, California along with the mechanical engineer Howard and astrophysicist Rajesh Koothrappali. The gang spend their time playing video games, watching science-fiction movies, reading comic books and working on individual work projects. This season of The Big Bang Theory deals with romance blossoming between Sheldon and Amy when she pushes him into a relationship.  Penny forms her own support group with Amy and Bernadette to deal with Leonard dating Priya. Howard gets selected to go to aboard the International Space Station while also having to prepare for his wedding with Bernadette. Penny and Leonard decide to give their relationship another chance.
