Proper book to understand basics of Big Data
Entire book is written in fluent and easy to understand language even to a newbie. My personal opinion is, this is the book one shall read to take decision about venturing further in this technology or not to. Divided in meaningful chapter those connect fluidly with each other. This book is not about technological examples and case studies but about general explanation on most of the details in plain and understandable language.

Fantastic read
There are lots of material and articles floating around about BIG DATA but no one gives comprehensive idea behind it.This book thankfully explains the big data from beginners to expert level.
