Dont even think to buy biostar products.

by my personal experience i bought this series of board from biostar less than bare bones based board way back in 2009.
this mobo at that time was very cheap less than 2800/-.
i recommend not to buy cheaper boards of any brand unless there are not gigabyte,ASUS,MSI like wise.
i faced a number of problems with this board it has a weird usb flash data copying problem when u use a USB 2.0 based flash drive it just copies at the speeds of 950kb per sec which is worst n takes hours to copy any 1 g...

Basic AM2 board

This is the get out of jail, basic AM2 socket motherboard. Since these boards are not easily available, this Biostar was the only option and it does the job.

Just what I needed

I had a top end Gigabyte Motherboard that was DOA years ago, after getting it rmaed it worked and finally died after 3 years. With everything else working fine and lack of funds i got this, unfortunately i had 4 x 1 gb ram and now im on 2 gb ram and my pc is slow

But this motherboard is doing the job it was meant to :) Thankfully this was the only mobo i could get for this processor online and it works absolutely fine!

1 star less for only 2 ram slots :P

Does not accept processors consuming >95W power

This is a simple board but its reliable. One disappointment was that when I pushed in an AMD Athlon X2 6000+ processor, the motherboard gave a message saying that the processor is incompatible because its total power consumption exceeds 95W. I found that odd. I mean, I thought the choice of processor only depends on the socket ! I was therefore forced to use a 5200+ processor instead

not worth the money !!!

Bought this motherboard for my AM2 socket type- AMD athlon X2 processor but was extremely disappointed.

This motherboard is not trust worthy , very low data transfer rates and low end performance.

The integrated graphics on this is board is out dated and offers a very poor performance.

Tis got a mind of its own ,had a hell lot of problems with this board and eventually had to return it because it was just not worth the money !!!
