One concern is this, The antivirus says its compatible with windows 7 but when i installed the same, it didnt, i had to download the setup from the internet and then used the cd key to activate the license, but seems like the dvd is not compatible with windows 7.

Gets 4 stars because it gave a lot of hassles while installing. However the Bitdefender helpline guy was very helpful and finally it was installed after an ordeal that lasted 5 hours!! Now to the working: amazing detection, it detects viruses that Quick Heal couldnt detect. Bitdefender gets good reviews every year which is why I purchased this a year ago.

Installation isn't smooth especially if you're not tech savvy. In case the CD doesn't work then opt for a usb installation and things should go on smoothly.

Updates and scans are regular and it usually detects most viruses. The gamer mode is a plus point as you don't have to monitor everything yourself. The application takes care of many things for you.

I'm using this antivirus more than 1 year even its not registered, im fully satisfied..

To avoid errors n speed problem I recommend you to install it after a fresh boot.
If your pc is overloaded with apps than its obviously takes a load.

able to download but computer becomes so slow and after restart i m not able to start my windows ,then i hv to go to safe mode and uninstall the bitdefender, then after i can start my windows ,its happeninf for the last 4 days and 10 times .contacting websites they doesnt validate 2012 antivirus.grieved user
