AJAI RAJ SHARMA is a 1966-batch IPS officer who served in several administratively important and sensitive districts of Uttar Pradesh. He is credited with creating and heading Special Task Force, an elite force which liquidated several notorious gangs operating from Uttar Pradesh and neighbouring states, and most notably the case of dreaded Shri Prakash Shukla. He became Commissioner of Police, Delhi and handled many high profile cases including the attack on Indian Parliament. He retired as Director General of Border Security Force in 2004.

Excellent book written by honest daring hardworking officer..this book reveals that there are officers like shri ajay sir who vanished the culprits..it is great to know through this book that there are officers which are forgotten for his acts but thanks to ajay sir to write this book to motivate the young energetic honest officers to work for the people and nation..everyone should read this book.

the narration is so good , i loved it, in some chapters the way author described the pain which he undergone is superb. we are so lucky to have such officers who dared to take such steps to eliminate monaters like om prakash shukla..i liked one quote " rules are made for us...not us for them.." that is the spirit of a best police officer
