The mobile is a quality piece of hardware. The trackpad and keyboard would take you back to your young days. But would not recommend this product now because of one major issue which is not present in product description,;

I used BB 8520 earlier and now this one.

Texting is better. Good grip and better sound quality.
Touch screen is really good.

Phone hangs frequently. But battery life is very poor. It last hardly 6-8 hours in 3G network. It makes the use of this mobile very inconvenient.
Sound quality of radio is average.
MMS feature is not easy to use.

Price is too high considering the feature

Well i had ordered this blackberry 9720 on the 7th of nov 2013, received on the 15th on nov and i am writing this review after much of using it for so many days.
I had bought this phone for my dad.
things that i loved in this phone

1) has got and amazing qwerty keyboard, a proper click tactile feedback (is a breeze for one who love to text,)

I have purchased BB 9720 phone based on the price and features which are very good in its class. The phone performance is also quite good and no complaints.

But on the flip side, I couldnot get a screen guard with the phone and also a cover/pouch for this phone as it was not available in the local market (Udupi, Karnataka). If these were also provided as a combo pack or with the phone itself it would be much better.

Overall the phone and the deliver is very good.

Don't buy this product from Flipkart because it's used phone and all the accessories are dublicate.when I get this phone it's not charging and I can't use this.the seller cheated me.they are mentioned below the warranty 1.5 year but all informations are lie.flipkart never considered customer satisfaction.
I need to refund money from this seller.. kindly solve my problem
