Author Suraj Sanpui was born on 24th April 1993, the day of Akshay Tritiya. Although his current residence is in Garalgacha village of Hooghly district, he spent the early part of his childhood in Gandhinagar city of Delhi, the capital city of the country due to his father's work. Later spent all childhood life in uncle's house Krishnarampur village. There he started studying in an English medium school. Later, when the parents returned to the state, they returned with them to their present residence. Suraj is not a professional writer. He is a jewelery designer by profession. The habit of writing is from his school days, that is why whenever he gets free time, he fills it with writing and another hobby, painting.
