Summary of the Book
This book provides readers a different perception of the North East region in India. It gives us a larger picture and historical details of the life during the British rule, the world wars, missionaries and converting people to Christianity. Their world is filled with the presence of folklore and belief in the supernatural. In all of these stories, we can see the political and social unrest that were a major part of the people’s lives.
