This book makes for great reading. I tend to read fast, but this book made me slow down, dip into it at random, re-read sections. It's extremely carefully written, a true labour of love. This book is not simply a collection of recipes with some personal anecdotes attached to them. Its a delightful and occasionally hilarious trip down memory lane that anyone away from home can relate to and yes specifically people with their own Bong Moms and Grand moms. Sandeepa Mukherjee Datt's Bong Mom's Cookbook is one of the best cookbook i have read till date. Though m not a Bong Specimen, their dishes make me go mad.
