Jyoti Pandya grew up with an abiding love for nature and gardening. At the age of 42, this led her into the myserious and artistic world of bonsai. An ardent bonsai practitioner for over 25 years now, she has devotedly taught this art to a large number of students. Completely self-taught, but now with immense experience behind her, along with participation in a range of national and international bonsai workshops, conferences and competitions., she is highly regarded on television shows on the subject. She is the founder of the Bonsai Club of Bhopal, which was started in 1990 through her dedicated efforts and continues to run successfully to date.
A very practical book for bigginers and experts also. It touches each and every aspects of bonsai practice. Apart from that this book discussed Indian trees for bonsai particularly. A must read book for bonsai enthusiasts.
Most books I have found about bonsai are aimed at US/UK market and mention plants/tools/soil products that we do not have access to or are not relevant to our local conditions. This book is written with a firm focus on growing bonsai in our climate and local materials The manner of writing is also very good. Recomended.
