    Different from others... stunning

Lana's music might not be everyone's cup of tea. The beauty of sadcore mixed with haunting voice, is just too amazing. More of a a retro type singer. The concept of the songs is too good. Very different from mainstream pop. Specially recommended for the ones, tired of listening to all the auto tuned meaningless crap....

Haunting - Wonder who's that guy who broke her Heart

Some of the songs are just run of the mill, but the few ones, like "Blue Jeans", "Million Dollar Man" are sung with such intensity, you just feel it.

Summertime Sadness is my ultimate lift-up song. So much pain, and sadness, but hauntingly good sadness.

She has overcome and grown as a person. But she's different for it !

    Best album of the year.

    Lovely!

Absolutely love this woman and her superb voice. She goes from gangster to starstruck in a split second. The album might feel "dragged-on", so you might need to listen in installments. It's a fresh departure from the pop music of today.

    Best tracks IMO:
    "Off to the Races"
    "Video Games"
    "Lucky Ones"

    Queen of sultry pop

Lana Del Rey is one those artists who's songs are meant to reflect on the actual sadness of life.
Along with her voice, her lyrics, and lovely pout her videos just become more eye-opening and beautiful and meaningful.
The must hear tracks of this album are SUMMERTIME SADNESS, BORN TO DIE, DARK PARADISE, CARMEN and OFF TO THE RACES.
On a scale of one to ten, this album deserves a bloody 20!!!!!!

    The human music ...

Her music is not perfect. And that's because it has human elements, it has a soul. The lyrics, the voice, the music, they all actually sychronise with the mood producing an intoxicating effect.

    Love it.
