Bread baking and playing with yeast was one zone i was really scared of, and wanted to have a book explaining the basics of bread baking, at times it gets a bit too theoretical, but the depths is what you miss most of the times elsewhere, so even though its an overkill at times, you get your basics straight, and also get very comfortable with the nitty gritty of bread baking.

I bought this book , and went over all the basics, but this is not the book i will turn to for quick bread recipes, ...
